The Ultimate Vass (Footwear) Thread (Pictures, reviews, sizing, etc...)

Amazing! Vass really seem to have stepped their game in terms of finish - some of the recent pics in this thread have been reminiscent of G&G.

Wow! Excellent choice. I was in the market for a suede derby recently but ended up getting a carmina split toe. Should have done something like this!

Those Vass look like they were finished by G&G.

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

Superb! Much appreciated! Similar profile but the last pic shows that the TG73 is more "sleeker" with the vamp sitting much closer to the sole.

**The Official Shoe Care Thread: Tutorials, Photos, etc.**

To be fair, I always understood the "less is more" sentiment in relation to the use of various esoteric products on shoes (like using conditioner cleaners during each polish / improper or overuse of renomat etc). I don't think it was meant to guard against the over polishing of shoes using wax...

Gaziano & Girling Appreciation & Shoe Appreciation Thread (including reviews, purchases, pictures)

Guys - this debate has now taken a turn away from Mahogany / red / neutral. I wrote to G&G to get their recommendation on which Saphir cream to use for vintage cherry. First of all credit to them to respond to my query so promptly (within a day). I have always considered their shoes to be the...

Oh then you're the perfect person to answer this riddle which has kept many people up all night. Ideally, should buy one more pair and polish it with Mahogany cream to have this debate put to rest, Which one wins ?

Is that wax or cream? I think Saphir doesnt actually offer a Hermes Red wax so the choice is straightforward there. I find my Vintage Cherry shoes have lightened with wear. I like the original colour but not sure which of the two creams is closer to the original.

What saphir cream should I use to polish by G&G vintage cherry St James - the Hermes Red or the Mahogany?
