Great look @Gerry Nelson

I'm envious of the trousers but surely the very low contrast between them and the sweater is going to look odd if you remove the jacket?

Ah, but I have a cunning trick - I don't remove the jacket

FWIW, I'm wearing a band collar denim shirt underneath so I would likely just remove the polo-neck jumper if I had to take the jacket off.

@gnatty8Thanks for the critique. These days I am gravitating towards a more relaxed fit as I'm getting older and I can't stand clothes that are too slim, but it's always a fine line and I'm still learning. As for the sweater, I'm sorry it caused you so much displeasure.

lol, easy now, it didn't cause me any displeasure at all; I just wouldn't wear it myself without something over it to add color/combat the boxiness..

From this past weekend. We actually had one of those legendary Smoky Mountain black bears on the deck right where I am sitting and given we were on our hammock at the end of the deck at the time, it made for some exciting times, lol.. Yeah, I don't do coats and all that when I'm in the woods..

Something super dressed down, but still within my "california summer style" that I've been doing lately.

Spread collar polo, linen-cotton patch pocket jacket, and thrifted light wash denim! Bit of a high cuff, but its hot!
Definitely loving the posts. Keep it up! What jacket is that by the way?
