Btw, check out "Phantom Thread" for A&S made clothes - cut for that time period specifically. Pretty much identical to the cut that Roger Stone goes for (though on a much skinnier frame)...

I mean, it could be that Stone went to A&S, and requested a classic house cut.

I actually like how this looks, but I may have gone too deep into the pit of Drape.

honestly, roger stone's style comes from a long line of classic films.

observe.

here's roger stone as the undertaker who comes out with a measuring stick to size up our hero before a sundown shootout.

here he is as the rancher who's trying to steal a poor woman's property after her husband died.

this is stone video-conferencing a special ops green beret named "snake." he's giving him instructions on how to infiltrate the enemy's base and take down the bi-pedal nuclear-armed killer robot

this is roger stone as the guy who just tied a woman up to the train tracks and won't reveal her location until the mayor pays a ransom.

That would be the logical explanation, but there are plenty of pictures of him and I haven't seen any that show this. If anything he was skinnier. And even if he did, shoulder width is very hard to increase (trust me I've tried) and his neck didn't shrink by 2.5". That doesn't happen.

I also wanted to note that you're criticizing some of the other forum members because you think they are attacking Stone purely out of politics, but the opposite could also be argued - that you're defending him because of your political feelings. I'm happy to criticize bad style on all political spectrums:
