I got a DHL "customs duty invoice" bill of $33.05 in the mail today from ordering Meermin shoes. Is this normal? Am I supposed to pay this?

My Hiro double monks are not as low on the forefoot but the fit across the forefoot is similar. Simpson 10UK might work (as opposed to 9.5UK Hiro) but I think the shoes would be too long.

Lol what did you order? Shoe cream? My DHL bill came to $140 CAD for shoes and a belt.

Here's a pic of my new fur lined antique oak boots straight out of the box. Damn, I never get used to how stiff these shoes are in the beginning. It's like walking with skates!

That's correct. Mine darkened a hair because of some wax I used, but the color is not representative of what Meermin shows on their site. The lower is much more of a mid brown than it is light brown.

Does the fur lining affect the sizing, or did you go with your regular size? Waiting for my Meermin green MTO boots which should arrive sometime in November.

Meermin adviced me to go with my regular sizing and I did. It feels it was the right desicion. I plan on wearing mine with thick wool socks but there's a bit of stretching to do before I get there.

Great looking boots Jarmo, seems like nice sizing. I trusted them on my sizing and ended with a bit large shoe, I don't mind the creasing but vamp sides are touching when laced tight.

Can someone tell me how thick socks do you guys wear with boots? My socks are pretty thin, so that might be a problem as well, becouse they are large in the instep area, but I have no heel slip at all
