If anybody has a leed on an affordable 10.5F or 11F non-black model, browns, tans, chinchilla etc, pls let me know. I have someone in Melbourne locally also if you're at the source lol, but anywhere in the States or Canada is best.

Thank you.

Does anyone know where I can source R.M. Williams top boot styles such as the Executive and Stock Agent styles?
I realised that they have been removed from their website, but I’m hoping there is a shop somewhere in the world that has a pair in Australian/UK size 11G.
I sent a message to R.M. Williams several months ago enquiring as to whether they intended to bring back the top boots styles, but to date I have not received a reply.

It looks like the Stockman Buckle Boot has been discontinued.
It appears that the focus is now squarely on only elastic sided boots.

Really annoying! I am based in the states so used to order from there rather than through the website and shipping was much quicker and cheaper

That always has been the 'focus', but they do still offer several boots besides their Chelsea styles:

  • Bunbury has an inside ankle zipper (two colour options)
  • Risden is laced (two colour)
  • Kingscliff is laced (three colours)
  • Rickaby is laced (just one colour currently).

We have a new RMW store here where I live (regional Queensland) and the Crazy Horse leather is fantastic in the flesh (it's available on CC and Goodwood). Would love to see how it patinates and ages. I'm also doing a bad job right now of dissuading myself from the suede lichen and dark olive C. Craftsman boots. Five RMs really ought be enough..! 😅 #bootacquisitionsyndrome

Mate!! I found a pair for you! Thought I'd check out Gumtree to see what was there to feed my own boot bug, and a big ol' pair of Stockman in 11G were right at the top. The seller is in South Australia, the home State of RMW. They've had 2" added to the usual 10" height.

No idea where you are, but if you're not in Australia and they won't ship internationally I'm happy to help.

ETA: Make that two pairs of these in 11g! This pair is regular height and cheaper:

Thanks for sharing these. Unfortunately they aren’t exactly what I’m looking for.

I had a brand new boxed and never worn pair of black Stockman Buckle Boots with the comfort craftsman sole, which have been listed in the classified section for about a year without any interest.
As soon as I realised that they were discontinued I immediately took down the listing. Maybe I’ll give them to my son when he’s older.

Quick conditioning question. I’ve always used the RM Williams leather conditioner along with a bit of polish for my comfort craftsman

I went into a new store today (a boot store not a RM Williams stores) and was about to pick up some more conditioner. The lady at the store said she didn’t advise the rm Williams product as it causes further cracking.

Has anyone heard of this? What do you use to condition your RMs?

I don’t know if I’d believe that. But I wouldn’t follow RM’s recommendation of applying it every month or what ever they suggest.

I use Saphir renovator in mine. For my burnished ones I use Saphir Napa, and for CXL commandos I use their greasy leather cream.
You could also use Bick 4 or Venetian Shoe Cream.

RM’s are just regular boots made from the same leathers as everything else. They’re no more or less delicate than any other brand (keep in mind I mean you should treat each type of leather they produce differently, but the same as that leather from any other brand). They like to try and push their own product by telling you everything else is bad for them because of course they do. That’s how they make money. But I don’t think their product is necessarily bad.

Hey everyone, I’m looking for some sizing advice on the R.M. Williams Comfort Craftsman boots. My foot length is 27cm, and my foot width (measured around the widest part) is 24.7cm. I typically wear a UK9 (EU43, US9.5) in both adidas and New Balance sneakers, and I also wear EU43 in ECCO sneakers and derby shoes.

I’m not sure whether to go with a UK8 or UK9 in the R.M.W Comfort Craftsman and would appreciate any input from those who have experience with their sizing.

Thanks in advance for your help!

RMW men's sizes are UK sizes, and if anything I've found them a half size large. My women's Australian size (9) is normal for me, but my men's size is 6.5 whilst I'm usually a UK 7.

Interesting to note that my physical foot length of 255 is exactly as indicated for a men's 6.5.

According to their size guide, an 8.5 is for a foot length of 272. This means you'd be an 8.5 which aligns with my experience that they're a half size big in the RMW / UK men's sizing.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
