'same' shoes, different size.

Left pair matches the pictures on the website.

Needed to size down to a UK10,5 for these, so really hope I get the actual pair as an exchange. Has anyone experienced this much of a difference before? Both colour and leather type are way off.

I got my order today. Interestingly the exact same shoe 114414; I ordered UK11 and UK10,5. Both pairs look pretty much identical (as seen on website). I sized down from my usual UK11 to 10,5 on this one by the way.

Glad to hear yours matched the pictures on the website! Any chance you could share a pic here?

Voiced my complaint to Meermin as well and they said this was normal because of variations in leather... Which I could understand, were it not this big of a difference.

Really curious how the size 10.5 will end up looking like.

I'll share a picture next week. Let us know how the 10.5 will turn out 😊

After long thinking I'm keeping the UK11; this is my regular Meermin size but since the loafer is unlined I wanted to go 0,5 down in size. The 10,5 is just too tight especially in the forefoot area. My ideal size on these would be UK10,75 I guess...

Looking great there! Colour is really great there. Even look a bit darker than my pair, but that might be the light. No confirmation yet that the return has been handled and the new pair is on its way.

Hopefully I do not regret going for the size 10.5. Usually tend to struggle with my pinky toe in shoes. But the 11 was a bit too loose around the ankle, causing me to slightly slip out. Figured this would only get worse with wear.

I assume these are on the Nova last? Could you comment on how it compares with the previous soft calf loafer last (Ron?) which I found too tight and pointed ?

The word for this spring season is..... horse-bit-loafers. :)
What are your initial impressions of these? Leather or rubber sole? I've been eyeing these lately. Trying to decide between these or the penny loafer in the Ron or Nova last.

I have the leather outsoles on the RON last. Calf skin is soft and comfortable. I like them; they're good value for the moo-la. 👍

I don't recommend this pair by Meermin. The topline digs into the ankle bone.

I'm looking into the snuff suede tassel loafers but have heard that the last runs a bit narrow. Is there anyone who owns these loafers as well as Rancourts who can comment for comparison's sake?

I'd be custom ordering a large size, which means no returns, so I can't try them on ahead of time.

Hello,

I am debating on buying a pair of shell cordovan boots in UK size 5 on their Negon last. My only experience with Meermin are a pair of snuff suede monkstraps which I bought in UK size 6 on their Hiro Last. There is a tiny bit of heel slip on the monkstraps, but with thick socks it is okay. I normally wear 7D on my Allen Edmonds Higgins Mill and that is my typical Brannock size. Should I bite the bullet and order?

Have a question about a pair of linea maestro cap toe oxfords. There are deep indentations in the footbed, where the stitch line is, that really makes them unwearable. They’ve been in my wardrobe for about two years at this point, with the occasional wear and no improvement.
Is that common with this line, are they just two narrow a fit for me maybe (they’re my uk size, 8.5, but the Olfe last I think) or does it even out eventually?

How does the new Nova last compare to Ron?
I personally prefer Nova to Ron. Ron is extremely narrow on the toes, and while on unlined loafers it can be ok (a little too snug maybe), on lined loafers with structured toe it can be painful.

Nova has a more realistic shape, highly recommended.
