i just for the first time saw the photos (last time i could not see them for some reason, just took your word for it)
but dang. razuel you are definitely a DIFFERENT LOOKING person and very handsome young man. (you werent bad looking previously either honestly)

very big inspiration for me to lose some weight too.
i love this forum how even though there are some useless, wasteful deconstructive stuff , there is alot of positive/constructive stuff like this.

i plan to show before/after photos of myself as well in one year.

i am currently 217 lbs around there, probably about 40% body fat. i used to be a svelte 170lbs in college and in my twenties.

i dont plan to get back to the six pack abs and such, but just a noticeable healthy change.

thanks for this awesome thread and good luck , continue the maintenance and the progress in your life!!

Great work -- this can be an inspiration to anyone looking to shed a few or many pounds. As you note, "it's not magic" -- being an "informed man with a plan" and sticking to it produces results!

Wow, completely impressive. Like people have said, it's fantastic to see such a positive change around.

But you mention learning a lot before you embarked on your journey? Any suggestions/reccomendations you'd care to make? Specifically along the lines of diet and nutrition.

And wow again. Be proud.

Had to log in from lurking to congratulate you! Good job!
I'm always annoyed by people blaming genetics or some other fake reason for being fat. Nice to see someone actually take the effort to do the work and get results. You rock.

Very inspiring. I need to lose about 15 pounds this summer, and I will think of this before-after every time I am hungry.

congratulations! it must feel amazing! dont want to be a downer, but you look like you gained a lot of confidence by the pictures, just dont turn into one of those guys who was fat, lost weight and now thinks hes the ****. youve been there and you know how it feels to be looked down upon etc. its kind of like when i was around 13 and had pretty bad acne, went on accutance, and within 8 months had none. yet you always know how it felt so you can relate. none the less your transformation is amazing and its good to see!
