I was looking at this exact pair as well. They are killer!

I realize this might be a well trodden subject, but how do folks find the fit on these? I'm a 7 US/ 40 EU in sneaker sizes, so i'm wondering if the 40 will be too big or not. I've read them fitting TTS to people sizing down a full size. Would be helpful to add a few datapoints to help with the decision!
I would go TTS Brannock or dress shoe size (not sneaker size). If you have narrow feet, you could try half size down

I sized down a full size and they are perfect.

Help on the Informale easy pants. The measurements on the 34 are 15inches more or less. I assume that's the elastic kicking in. Wondering if that would work on someone who is 33.5 to 34 in in the waist. Those who have the trouser...thoughts? Too big? I am of two minds about the mix of formal/informal but fit first.

I’m 34.5 on my best days and wear the Informale in 34.

How are Found and Feather caps? Worth the asking price?
I have a handful. The Classic 6 panel is my favorite. Some of the past seasons styles he's played with longer bills or odd paneling is not for me. Still cool, I just don't wear it well. But the classic 6 style I can't get enough of. I echo the above - well made, nice fabrics.

I have a few hats from Found Feather and I like them. They have interesting materials and are well made.

Thanks guys! I have a large head, hope their bigger size (ML) would fit me!

Thanks for responding. These are the easy trousers? Does the elastic pull it down to a waist size below 17 inches? I.e. on you, do you find that there is a notable expansion of the elastic (e.g. if the NMWA measurement is correct, that the 34 is 15 or so inches). Informale lists a different waist size but I think that's the functional waist size not the unworn waist size.

It's possible 34 would be too big, too loose in the waist for me.

What Rota model has the highest rise? Looking at the Manhattan and Brooklyn "high-rise" models, as well as the one listed "higher-rise," they measure to 11.4 inches which seems only high-rise in the Italian sense...Is there a Rota trouser with at least a 12" rise?
Manhattan west side and Brooklyn are all higher than the high rise and regular versions.
The first three might all be the same actually.

I got the houndstooth one on sale and have found it to be a great accessory, filling it's own niche. Also the leather in the bill is genius. With reg baseball caps bending the bill is a one way street, but with these you're free to bend them or flatten them as you see fit.

My head fell smack dab in the middle of their sizing. I went with the SM and i'm hoping it stretches out over time.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
