Happy New, gentlemen and degenerates both. We have some more auctions to go, but are taking the day to rest and recuperate, and hopefully, the auctions will start again tomorrow, probably in the PM Eastern time.!

Cheers,

Fok.

Auction 13: The Rolls Royce of hangers - - a set of hand-crafted Nakata Hangers from Arterton and @prof.contingency
Let's start the bidding... now. This auction will end on 1/3.

So you've got your hands on some nice stuff. Some really nice stuff, even. Everything has been considered. But what about your hangers? At some point you do have to take your suit, shirt, trousers, or coat off so why not take care of them the best way you can, on some perfectly shaped hangers? Not only do they look great, they keep your garments suspended in a way to keep their shape the best, and allow for maximum breathability while they're at it.

Hand-crafted in Japan, Nakata Hangers have quite the reputation and are by over 70% of Saville Row at this point - and some of those folks know what they're doing.

This auction is for a set of 3 hangers from Nakata, and while their offerings include suit, trouser, and even shirt, @prof.contingencyrecommends the AUT-05 suit hanger, their most popular model and the Saville Row favorite.

Look at that! Just spectacular even simply as an object.

With a retail value of $140 we'll start the bidding at $70 and go with increments of $10

Please bid generously and often! As with all of these auctions, everything will be going to support a long-time Styleforum member who has ALS.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
