If it's good coffee don't import it to the US. Americans over roast their beans so much I find it offensive

There's actually a huge marketing opportunity in the US for a decent Brazilian coffee.l Many people in the US think Brazil has the best coffee in the world. Why they think that, nobody knows.

So what's the "go to" brand if you want a good Brazilian coffee?

There isn't one.

So that's how somebody in the coffee business could make a bunch of money. Become "the" Brazilian coffee. U.S. thinking is... You want the best coffee, you get coffee from Brazil. You want the best Brazilian coffee, you get (insert new name here).

Voila.

I work in Sao Paulo 2-3 times a quarter and always pickup 2-3 bricks of Cafe do Ponto "Araulto"... second best to a 100% kona

Wow, offensive? To you, personally or just to the coffee gods?

Did I mention I was sorry for posting on the Clothing forum? I didn't mean to draw this much attention to other (coffee) fora. I am not related to nor do I knowingly know the identity of wetnose. Further, I am not nor have I ever been under the employ of or affiliated with the above referenced website. Full disclosure: I did join that site today and found it relatively uninformative, though someone was able to direct me to another site that more readily addressed my specific questions. Many thanks to all! -B

Finland has good prospects for importing coffee. Although the population is not that huge the amount of coffee consumed by an individual here is just ridiculous.

I was thinking something that says "plantation". Think cotton or linen suits, panama hat, maybe a pith helmet for the SF insiders.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
