I have an unfunded length of mid grey herringbone in the queue to be made up right now. The cloth itself is beautiful, but I have been holding off as it isnt the easiest/ most versatile color to wear as an odd jacket. Certainly a great piece in an established wardrobe though.

That's what I was pondering. For a low complexity, low color look, it can work, though.

Anyone have a suggestion for: A Navy herringbone summer fabric with a blend of either cotton/linen/silk or wool/linen/silk? (and a link to where to purchase)

Alternatively, a place to buy an unreconstructed, patch-pocket summer blazer with something akin to the above fabric?

My new boughts for ties. The real Hopsack, cashmere and pure linen.

Would love one in that cranberry (?) Drapers cashmere.

You may want to look at Harrison Mirage. I've got no personal experience with it, but many of the designs are rather nice and I've heard good things about it.

Merino Bros has a gallery: http://www.merinobrothers.com/#!mirage/clxw

I have one of their herringbones and it turned out very well. Not featherweight, but otherwise good for warm-ish weather.

I'm getting rid of a few unfunded liabilities due to recent family expansion, including jacketing from Hardy, Johnston and Dugdale. See classified here.

Have any of you bought fabrics at Philips-Boyne? They are asking for my complete credit card information and I'm not comfortable enough to complete the order.

Hi All, this might be an obvious question:

Are there any particular stores which sell suiting fabrics directly to the public in Naples? My wife and I will be visiting there as well as Rome. Hopefully the prices significantly marked up. Would be lovely to check out some Solaro fabric as I *think* Caccioppoli is in Naples. Thanks in advance.
