Brown cxl, cigar, #8, tan suede, and black calf. Have on order the black rough out from leffot...I think it is leffot...forget the name of the actual boot. in a 1/2 size larger so I can wear it with some heavier socks for winter.

So will sell the black calf when that arrives.

I wish to formally apologize to the members of this forum for posting pics of these flat pink oddity and novelty items, and again apologize for subjecting you yo them. I will immediately delete these pics from the forum, as I do not wish to cause any further distress to the fashionable members here. I am only trumped in my own embarrassment in having wasted my time in search them out and then spending good money on them. What was I thinking? If only I had talked the oracle Joenobody first, I could have saved myself this horrific fate. I will now dispose of these awful things so as to save myself any further ridicule.

The matter of the #2 is completely irrelevant - any and all info related to Alden is welcome here, as you are well aware.

Joe is a common troll - pay little to no attentions. My last recollection of his drivel here was when he jumped on Mike about "hand made", and letting us all know that Alden's aren't "hand made" like St.Crispins, etc.

Because, you know, he is the Oracle, and the only one who know what "hand made" shoes are.

Just don't feed the trolls, and all is well.

Can someone advise how the Barrie and Van lasts sizes would compare to the Leyden in which I take an 11E (unlike chukka). I'm based in Europe so cannot pop out to a stockist and try them. Thanks.

Longwings look stunning. Did you go with a narrow fit? That's one sleek Lw you got there.

King gunboats today. These are just so darn comfortable right from the start. I could easily see owning the spectrum of shell in these.

I would consider Joe a positive contributor to the forum. Sure, some of his remarks may be a bit abrasive in nature, but he has been killing the game lately in providing clear cut answers to many questions here.
