I enjoy the multifaceted nature of shell.

Here are my Ravello chukkas in the shade.

And here they are glowing in the sun 30 seconds later.

Iron, those are absolutely sweet Chukkas! I was really hoping to pass on the Alden Ravello Chukka too!

Don, those Snuffs are looking fantastic. I agree, that is an amazing summer look!

no idea. I know of only 2 retailers that sell Navy Indys, both on CXL, and they are Unipair and The Bureau. I don't know if either uses commando soles on their versions.

No, everyone has a navy CXL Indy boot now. Alden NYC, DC and San Francisco have one. J. Gilbert has one coming (and it is on the commando sole). I think Moulded Shoe has a make up in the works on the modified last. Alden of Carmel even has a navy suede Indy boot coming in the Fall.

Other than the J Gilbert boot that is coming, I am not aware that any of these make ups have commando sole. I suspect this makeups with the commandos sole comes from the Asian market.

Some new pick-ups... :)

First up, the ShoeMart Seconds "Color #4" "Ravello" Cigar Cap Toe Balmorals. So, they were listed in the ShoeMart E-mail as being Color #4, but when I received them the box had Ravello written on it by hand. So, I decided to contact Alden, they confirmed my suspicion based upon the model number, that they are actually, Cigar Shell Cordovan and were made in 2002 for CitiShoes.

Second up, the Alden x LeatherSoul Cigar Jumper Boot. I purchased these from a fellow StyleForum member, who has only worn them once since acquiring them back in 2012. Unfortunately, I have sold them, but I thought that y'all would appreciate the photos!

Next up, is the Alden x Leffot Plaza Lasted Snuff Suede Wingtip Boot. These are not Shell Cordovan, but still amazing! They have been worn once.

Another hard find was a pair of Whiskey Chukka boots made for Alden of San Francisco back in 2009.

Finally, I picked these bad boys up in person at Alden of NY. When I walked in there, these were sitting on their shelf! I was pleasantly surprised. They had them in my size to... :)

And an updated photo of my Whiskey Family. I just sold and shipped my Whiskey LHS (second from the right), but wanted to take a group shot before they departed. I have a new Whiskey LWB in production in a narrow size, a Whiskey Indy boot in production, and have two Crockett & Jones Whiskey shoes (Harlech Cap Toe Boot (GMTO) and Lowdnes Double Monk (MTO)) currently in production.

Have a great weekend all!

Very much wish we wore the same size! These are awesome. I hope to acquire someday.

Nice variety of Whiskey @mdubs. How often do you wear each of these whiskey shoes?

Bare in mind that I just got the Full-Straps, PTBs, and Chukkas. I didn't even have the equation setup for the Chukka yet! :)

I also only fairly recently started counting, but I did go through my whole database of shoe pictures to go back....

I like that there is a spreadsheet to handle the info. Enjoy your new kicks.

Smoothie, haha, thanks! I find the spreadsheet to be the best way to track my shoes and their wearing. It has been a key element to my heard thinning process and to help me plan out future purchases.
