Another vague fashion advice request: I would like to add some shirts to my wardrobe that are outside the vary narrow realm of white and blue cotton Ts and collared button downs that I continually default to. I am also looking for options for warmer weather. I was therefore thinking silk, viscose or similar. I was also hoping for some options of the short-sleeve variety. My mind goes to silk polos. In line with that, I am thinking on the dressier side of things, and away from street/workwear. In terms of color/patterns, I lean toward more conservative but am open to suggestions as long as they're not flames emblazoned on a bowling shirt.

Basically, I just need to a list of brands to look at, as I haven't a clue where to start.

The Jungmaven "Jung Pocket Tee" T shirt has a really light and silky feel to it. Cool colors and just a bit different from your standard T.

Definitely the weight and feel I'm going for. Just hoping to find in a collared variety and a little dressier.

I know that we haven't done this for a while, but I'm assuming that a lot of people are listening to a lot of music right now.

So, right now, on my current playlist is a lot of Leonard Cohen (RIP). Right now: "In my Secret Life":

@dieworkwear that whole Ahmad Jamal Trio set at the Pershing is fantastic. I've got the Cross Country live album and it's one of my favorites.

He’s one of my faves. There were a few he recorded in the 60s - Tranquility, Naked City, Freeflight - that are on another level.

Also, dude is one of the most heavily sampled in Hip-Hop:

@FlyingMonkey It really is solo. The movie Coda from a few years ago goes into his recording process for it, it's cool. If you're a Sakamoto fan I really recommend also watching Tokyo Melody (full thing's on youtube I believe), funny and embarrassing at times but it's kind of awesome. I think there's clips of it worked into Coda. If you're into his more experimental stuff, his collaborations with Taylor Deupree are sometimes great.

For people looking for Spotify playlists, also, his selections for Kajitsu are great:

They are indeed. All I meant by writing 'solo' was that even on an album like this, there are plenty of collaborations and guest appearances by his usual collaborators.
