I was referring to the Galway boots GMTO specifically. I've never owned AEs (or EG - just looking at the pictures!).

Did Meermin increase their pricing recently? I bought the classic line cap toes for 132 euro in January, which comes out to a little under $150. Now they are listed as $175 (which I assume already excludes VAT since it's listed in dollars). Just curious if people noticed this.. I went back a few pages and didn't see any discussion of it.

I too noticed that prices are higher, and also now listed in $.
Could it be due to the shaky status of the euro right now?

I believe it has something with do with the euro. Their FAQ still say "All orders will be billed in Euros."

Looks like it's more expensive now, it's $175 with VAT excluded and an additional $45 for shipping. So the total is about $250 after custom fees are included.

I think you are right the first time.

$175 + $45 shipping = $220.00

I wonder if they bill it in USD since most CC companies have currency conversion charges...

Yea, that's a pretty significant jump....

But prices are increasing across the board: EG, GG, Carmina etc...

ah well that sucks, looks like a +20 euro jump there on LM line. Eg Plum went from 320 to 340. Maybe it was a jump from 310..eitherway a jump.

Site is definitely wrong though, those previous prices were VAT inclusive so use to be 310 with VAT. If the site is currently correct then a bit of BS.

Quite the jump. I placed an order last week that totaled $448 USD and the same order would now be $535. A 20% increase is absolutely ridiculous. Carmina is going up around 4-5% and EG, Lobb, etc. are increasing 10-12%.

I'm done with Meermin with this increase and their inability to return ANY emails. The customer service, or lack thereof, is a complete joke. Reminds me why I stick with AE and small boutiques.
