Here it is guys, the Group MTO shearling lined dark brown soft napa leather with dainite sole boots

David, thank you for your feedback.

Have you noticed any glue stains on the shearling lining in your boots forming rough spots ? I have several ones in mine left and right... That does not feel right to me when I spent 260€ incl ship even though I know they are priced competitively.

Also the lining of one boot is much thicker and plusher than the other.

I am in the process to return them back to Meermin for correction. So I don't think it is wise from me to post those pictures with dried glue inside until I get the corrected boots.

hello,
I have received these boots with shearling lining as well. Glue all over the shearling as well and filling paper stuck on it...
I have sent the shoes back and they just returned them. I am quite disappointed.... indeed they have simply cut the shearling with a hair clipper. I could have done it myself!!! and it did cost me 25€ to send the shoes back :( and of course no one offered me a refund.

Thank you Ricard for your feed-back !

The F***, they just cut off the glued shearling lining ?

I asked Meermin if they would cut some fur, they declined to answer me, just told me they would send UPS to pick up the boots for inspection.

Not once an apology nor a sorry. Very poor customer service quality.

Now I'm torn. What to do ?

I would like to see Meermin to offer more hand welt options for their shell cordovan. The GY-1 options are a deal breaker.

No glue on the shearling in my boots. Really sorry to hear that.

Just received my shearling lined boots. I'm really happy with them. The shearling lining is glorious. Many thanks to @DavidLane for setting this up. More pictures here
Nice. They got it backwards though. Grain is supposed to be darker than calf

I am totally jealous ! The shearling in your boots looks awesome and thick no trace of glue or glued silk paper unlike mine ! Had I known earlier about your project David, I would have come on board. How much did it cost for this private group MTO ?

the galway style is very nice.

Is anyone thinking of getting a pair? I'd be very excited to get in on a second gmto run for that makeup. I live in california so shearling lining is not mandatory, but I'm all about that look and I'm not quite ready to drop eg cash
