gyasih - many thanks!

Are you able to make any comment on the height of the Meermin shoes over the instep as opposed to the other shoes?

From the Meermin website, it does not look like they make wide sizes. What is the consensus on the standard width: narrow, medium, or wide

wtf is this **** i have to fill out because of the shoe trees? what a pain **********

Email Meermin, they will help. Blame our government at work creating jobs/bureaucracy.

They do MTO with size adjustment.

Standard width varies by last. Ben/Hiro -> roughly same width as 888/82 with much less toe space, very slightly wider at metatarsal than 7000/8000 with about the same toe space.

Chances are if you have a very deformed feet from being too civilized and not walking barefoot, you might be able to fit in Vil or new Ray.

The Ben last looks really nice.

For me it's Ben > Olfe > Hiro. I hope Pepe will oblige having them made up on at least two different lasts. I'll go for the Olfe myself.

Do you not fit the current RTW hand welted line from Meermin? is the New Rey last the reason?

Pepe recommended Ben last. It's almost perfect, just slightly too narrow at the cap toe stitching. If its in a wingtip or wholecut/plain toe config, it would most likely fit perfectly fine.

I have a pretty uncivilized/healthy flare foot shape from being unconstricted most of the time during my youth.

I second that: Ben or Olfe ... don't think I would go with the Hiro.

Jubei: I have the Rui last shell longwings and it is a fairly wide last. You can e-mail Meermin for last and sole measurements for specifc sizes and lasts to get an idea of how wide the shoe is. Apart from that, as Chogall mentioned, you can have a last altered to make it wider for a slight MTO upcharge.

Sent an email to them regarding wide size info. Is the MTO option strictly through email?
