Any opinions on the The Heritage PiquÃ

Polo? The brick colour is exactly what I'm after. I'm 6'1, 42" chest, do I go large or medium?

I really wish they'd photograph all the colours seperately, instead of just photoshopping them. It just looks lazy.

They're awesome - slim, good cotton, solid construction. Of all the LEC items offered, they're possibly the best. I'm a 38 chest and medium is perfect for me, so large might work for you. If possible, order both sizes and just return the ones you don't want.

Of the mall brands-
Banana Republic - ($36-$50 after coupons) seems ok, but it kind of pricey - can get shirts somewhat reasonable after 40% off.
H&M - ($30 range) - like the fit, but falls apart
Express - ($23 range after coupons) like the fit, limited selections, falls apart
Gap - pretty bad all around
Club Monaco - crazy expensive
JCrew - really expensive.

I'm considering J Crew Factory stuff right now - around $25-$30/shirt. Any better options? No uniqlo nearby.

Also open to places to buy online with coupons/etc.

I just picked up a JCrew Factory shirt this weekend and I would say it's much better in terms of fit. I have a few of their other items from a couple years a go and they hold up well.

The fit for LEC just doesn't seem to mesh well with my body type. I'll look good and slim from the front, but the second I turn to the side, it looks like I have a huge gut. Could just be an anomaly, though.

I actually find their color representation to be pretty accurate. I've seen MUCH worse, I can assure you.

Pretty damn happy w/ JCrew right now. I had ordered 5 factory shirts on Sunday for ~ $150, and they ran a 30% off sale today. Called them and they price matched for me even though it's against their policy.

Overall I'll end up with 5 shirts for around $115 - not bad at all even if the quality isn't top notch. With as often as I spill/destroy shirts I figure I can't go wrong.

Anyone know how JCrew Factory stuff fits relative to LEC? (LEC smalls are kind of tight on me but I would guess a medium woudl be huge)

So apparently, without notice, as of June 1st, it is no longer possible to make returns at Sears (in Canada anyways). Went down to Sears Pacific Centre today to return a pair of shorts and the sales clerk told me the news. Obviously I was a little annoyed and pointed out that my invoice didn't tell me of the change of policy. She agreed and put me through to LEC cumstomer service and they confirmed this shite news. So, as a heads up to all, unless you live near an acutual LE, return shipping is not free. Bastads...

The LEC polos are looser around the mid section. No real taper, at least on the ones I own. That's my main complaint about the LEC polos is they aren't snug enough around my stomach.

I went to return an item a few weeks ago and I've always gotten away with returning to any of the Sears desks, but this last time they said they're not allowed to process LE returns and that I specifically had to go to the LE cashier to return the item.

It sounds like you can make Sears returns, but only if they have a Land's End there.
