I'm looking for some shopping reccomendations in Japan (Tokyo, Osaka and a few other cities).

There is a lot on the forum (and the wider internet) about where to shop for the the denim brands, the repro brands and classical menswear.

That all appeals but I would love to get some more explicitly Japanese influenced items. I don't mean traditional robes, but anything with traditional influences/fabrics etc.

I see Blue Blue Japan makes a Sashiko chore coat and other things that have elements from western work wear and traditional Japanese clothing.

Any reccomendations for brands/places to buy things like that would be very gratefully recieved!

I would recommend visiting a Book Off, Hard Off, Mode Off store. They carry all types of clothing with some new and most used. I haven't spent much time in Osaka but these stores are all over Tokyo Prefecture.
