Yes! Some Fairfield love. I'm glad you like them.

They do have a relaxed fit. One feedback we frequently receive is how customers are shocked how much the loafer changes (for the good) as they wear them and break-in. I wouldn't give a specific break-in timeline but after a few weeks, they feel like your loafers. After a few months, they become softer, more forgiving and almost more of a slipper feel.

Heel slip will be inevitable with this pattern. Some of my traveler pairs are worse than others when brand new but have never found it to be a nuisance long term. It can take a little time to get used to a slip-on if you rarely wear them.

Ok great. They seem fine, just wanted to make sure before I wear them outside.

Mine have a little heel slip, but not a problem when walking, they certainly don't feel like I'm walking out of them. However, every brand of loafer I have does that, different lasts, not all the same size (due to lasts), I have always just figured that's what loafers do, been that way all my life. Wear the GS in good health and do wear them outside!

Waiting for UPS is never fun. Got a pair of Dune Travelers out for delivery. It will be my first pair of loafers, so we'll see how it goes.
Those were also my first pair of loafers (well in at least 10-15 years). I'm guessing you'll be happy... ;)

As far was the watched-pot syndrome for UPS, I feel ya. This will be me tomorrow for something special:

Question, once the pre order’s sell out is that it for that leather? Really like those Loden Suede loafers, but only now getting to know Grant Stone lol
