The Thuya have a really nice shape on the foot. Fairly dramatic, if that makes sense.

In my opinion that jacket is supposed to hit at the hips. Looks spot on to me.

Can someone who has laid hands on the Oliver Spencer Flitwick navigator jacket describe the fabric? Is it stretchy like a knit or more like a woven fabric with a little give to it? Thanks.

Much more like a woven.There's give structurally (i.e., you could easily roll it up to pack it in a bag), but the fabric doesn't stretch like a knit. Note that it's lined, which further eliminates any "stretchiness". Think along the lines of a lined denim jacket in terms of how it feels. Not sure if it's helpful, but here's a pic showing both the outside fabric and the lining:
