Just received my order from the sale and among the ties and wool hat was the OS crazy tweed Plymouth (color blocked) blazer.

First off, the delivery and service gave me a smile this morning so thanks Greg and Willy. Completely impressed.

Second, thanks to the folks who recommended sizing up to a 40. Fit is better than I expected. Its on the short side but it's not a conventional piece so I'm okay with that. Sleeve length and shoulders are spot on. Love the tweed,

My only quibble was the amount of loose and stray threads on the blazer itself. I have a feeling the buttons are going to fall off quickly unless I reinforce them myself.

In any case, I expect to shop and visit this thread more often after this experience.

If they do and you need to have someone re-attach the buttons, please keep the receipt and let us know.

Thuya fit looks good. That shoe definitely needed some 'context' for those of us who lack imagination.

I would think they could be worn easily with chinos, jeans, etc.

But this is coming from someone who used to live in wallabies.

^ Yes. I think it's grey in person but the windowpane and shade of grey result in an overall blue-grey effect.

Just to put everyone's mind at ease:
Despite a stray thread (which I'm counting as sprezzatura), all of the buttons on mine seem secure. But I appreciate the prayers and expressions of concern you were all on the verge of sending.

Yup, this is actually something I was chatting about yesterday at NoManHQ with @unbelragazzo and @gdl203 and which prompted us to post the picture. They're a little bit more difficult to comprehend when they're being held and looked at up close, but fortunately that's not how shoes are worn :) and they look great on the foot.

Indeed! Any of the above will look great with them.
