I honestly do not recall enough to give a definitive answer, but I think they were about same length as the 4497. But I'm surprised the 4497 is short for you; are you sizing down? For example, I wear my TTS in 4497 but size down 1/2 to 4444. I have heard some people sizing 1/2 down on 4497...- kmdsimpson

I will add my experience which is that the 2298 is significantly narrower than the 4497, especially in the toes. It causes problems for me, but YMMV. Agree with sizing advice to take same size as 4497 if the shape works.- kmdsimpson

Thanks for the info. I was interested in trying the MacNeil 2.0 to see how the higher toe box fits. But sounds like it was a dud. Also probably changes the look of the shoe too much. Not a fan of Poron; but I actually never have tried as it as a fit solution.- kmdsimpson

Nice collection. I have a similar liking for split toed shoes. I would have bought the Delray in brown today if they had my size in stock. And I think you are correct about the Clark Street - the fit is a little looser due to the CXL leather. I have a pair, and they fit me, luckily. But...- kmdsimpson

Just received my Leo in Polo Kudu leather today. When I ordered, the website did not specify the color. I was not sure if I was getting Sign (burgundy) or Polo (brown); just decided to take my chances. These are beautiful. Really happy I ordered them.- kmdsimpson

Similar experience here. I did not get in on this Roy order. But I have the Mayfair monks and the Belgrave, both on 4537, and they both feel TTS to me (maybe just a tiny bit roomy, but talking differences in thin vs. medium dress socks). Where they having a holiday sale while you were there? I have seen the store in two different configurations. During regular season, I found the store to be quite nice. During sale season, they remove all the glass cases, displays, and custom makeups and replace that with wooden shelves...- kmdsimpson

I don't know for sure that you should be worried. A lot of people have said they size down one full size for 4497. I do not like my boots to be snug. Also, others have said the 2298 fits them fine, but for me it is too narrow. So depends on your particular foot. I wear 1/2 size down...- kmdsimpson

I had a "not-Stow" boot from STP that was on the 2298 last. It is definitely narrower and is not a good fit for my foot. I find the 4497 and 4444 to both be good for me, as well as the 4537, which is a dress shoe last. Few comments: I take 1/2 size difference from US to UK in 4497...- kmdsimpson
