Random fashion thoughts - Part II (A New Hope)

Just last night I met a guy st a Christmas party who started complaining about not being able to find dress shirts slim enough - the one he was wearing didn't look like it could get any tighter. Untucked, cuffs turned back, dark wash denim and bicicyle toes. It was almost surreal.

    FrankCowperwood's Best of 2017 Streetwear & Denim

@UrbanComposition Apparently, I've posted hardly anything at all this year, so I'm not sure I have that much to share! When I wasn't wearing hiking shorts and foam birkenstocks I think I was more in cm casual stuff, oddly enough. I'm not sure I'm wearing anything particularly interesting these...

Murlsquirl's Best of 2017 Classic Menswear thread

They are 'Sagan' loafers from Baudoin and Lange. SF (me) did a review of them over the summer, so I had a pair of shoes sent to me, but in all honesty they're truly fantastic. I've worn them a ton.

I can change that! Here's what Instagram and Styleforum liked: I basically lived in outfit 2 this summer, when not wearing patagonia shorts.

The What Are You Wearing Today (WAYWT) Discussion Thread, Part II

Thanks. I really like them. Maybe I'm insane but they seem to fit larger than the other pair (in the sand suede) that I tried.

The What Are You Wearing Today (WAYWT) Discussion Thread, Part II

Yeah, it sure is. I like it a lot - very versatile despite the disturbing lack of pockets. Perfect layering piece, I think, and works well as a wearable mix of tech and heritage fabrics, by which I mean I get to wear a down insulator without having to wear outdoor clothing.

The Official Artisanal "streetwear" footwear (boots, shoes, sandals) thread (Guidi, CCP, Augusta, M.

I obviously don't know the details of the transaction, but perhaps in the case of the shoes it's as simple as the new owners purchasing a name - similar to 35 Summers buying a name like Rocky Mountain Featherbed, or any of the other revivals of British heritage brands over the years. At the very...

The Official Artisanal "streetwear" footwear (boots, shoes, sandals) thread (Guidi, CCP, Augusta, M.

Is Jun 'behind' it? Or simply attached as a designer somehow? Either way, CDM looks to be, if not actual re-brands of existing WJK pieces, then pretty close to it. Perhaps we'll have a v-kei revival? On the occasions when I've met Jun, he seems like the very definition of a pragmatist. I think...

Interesting - I have a 42L/S, and keep wondering if I should have gone for a 44. Would you be willing to measure the BOC length of yours for me? I find the puffiness endearing, although I think that most people who 'want an MA-1' would be turned off by the repro cut. The rear length is the...

At less than 1K, those James Grose jackets are an absurd deal right now.

Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)?

Definitely - I think that if I were less inclined to spend absurd amounts of money on clothing, I would be very happy shopping at Uniqlo. It's the U Blocktech trench/Chester thing I'm referring to, though - doesn't really make sense for me to buy a 'nice' version. That said, I think I will buy...

You're welcome, NMWA. I'll take my stylist's payment in the form of one each of the above sets.
