I know most people size true to Visvim Virgils Kangaroo leather, but has anyone sized down 1 to allow for natural stretch? Wondering if they stretch well. Asking bc they sold out of my normal size 12, and may have to go with 11 :(

You could take them to a cobbler to stretch them if needed. Good luck

You can not stretch them in length, only in width.I would not recommend that you buy them.Personally for me, even 0.5 down does not work for virgils, only tts.

^^Looks nice. I like the puffy sanjuros but I think I like looking at them more than the practicality of it. I can't get over the long sleeve under half sleeve. I have a sanjuro coat that's 3/4 sleeves in just cotton, and that is difficult enough for me to swallow

Nice,

Nice, where'd you source these from? They look pretty much brand new.

Y! Japan. They are new, no dirt or anything on 'em, still has that sticker on the bottom. Occasionally you can find deadstock stuff, especially of footwear, on Y Japan for a good price. That particular one isn't my photo—just a model. I wanted to show off the the texture of the kudu leather; it's got very nice streaking and color irregularity, as well as an excellent matte wax/oiled finish. Too bad Visvim doesn't use Kudu more, of all the boots I've owned and handled, the Kudu virgils are still supreme

Haha I mostly see it as a half step up from a down vest. I'll be layering it under a parka when it gets really cold.

I hate that I like those things

- Move to Boulder
- Open up a new outfitters store
- It's technical shells and puffy jackets but in traditional cuts of Japanese farm/workwear
- KIMONO_SHELL KD6-3.7 —— T∞-KI-∞ MonS∞∞n " [ • DRI-TYPE: NEO-WAYs of WATER * RESIST ]
- You call it NEO-PATAGO_YA. Your logo is the remains of the summit of Mount Elbert after it's been decimated by a hydrogen-element.4 bomb test sanctioned by the US Government
- You urge people to repair their gear instead of buying new gear because もったいない
- You collab with Chacos to make GETA-CHACOS
-
"Yes, we carry the white chocolate macadamia nut Cliff bars."

They look legit to me but it's hard to say, I'm not the best at these things. Those are from ~09 I think. The only thing is that for the darker brown pair, they used tonal stitching and for the lighter pair they used contrast stitching. Then again, they are 8 year old boots and may have just been darkened/conditioned over time.

And, that price isn't unheard of on the used market, especially for really old models.

Can anyone recommend a bag like the Visvim medicine bag? Anything besides Goros which is way too expensive for me right now.
