Lovely collection, great to see that Yohji's still got it after all these years. It's felt like there has been a bit of a deviation (in the purest sense of the word, not to imply a turn for the worse) in his menswear post - bankrupcy, starting around the 2012 seasons, and while I have thoroughly enjoyed this new chapter of his work I missed his older (early - mid 2000s) collections and FW15 has gone back to revisit that feeling / look while still keeping it new and interesting with the details.

Some lovely sentiments regarding the show :

This is what Yohji's work does for me, and how I personally approach dress. A company of close, understanding friends. Clothes for life.

Hope all of you have discovered a number of such new connections in this past year, or strengthened connections with "old friends". I know I have.

@zepp In my opinion, you absolutely need size 4. If you are gonna buy from where I think you are, it's the same price as *** sale price ( 115000 + 8% tax retail x 40% off ), hence a bargain in my book. Japan stock long sold out even before the 2nd Jan sale there.

I absolutely agree with David here. I bought a size 3 to be on the safe side, and it's definitely a slim cut.

Shameful confession: I've actually never worn it. I can zip it up, but it is tight. I've started doing ashtanga yoga though, so I should be able to fit into it soon.

FW 14 collection was absolutely stunning collection for me. Though so many of them I couldn't really utilize in hot climate. Sigh...

It's been almost a year since I've posted something here, I'd like to contribute by sharing some of my fits along with you guys.

Regarding fw15, it's my favourite yohji collection in a while, very classic yohji DNA there. The collection might not be as strong as his 2000s shows, but the double layers. raw edges and contrasting hue is spectacular. It's also great to see he revisits details from previous collection - not new but very satisfying.

I've also set up an Ebay account in order to fund for upcoming seasons. Ebay demands me to send them an identity proof, so I can't list more stuffs. They're roughly 3 or 4 more. I've now listed ss08 Espoir jacket and SS14 regulation suit on sale. And I'm quite sure posting here would lead those lovely pieces to a good home. Please check it out. Chayin is a good friend of mine and he always has a good eye for key pieces. The ss08 Espoir is definitely grail worthy ( I should know lol ). He's also a passionate fan and therefore a careful owner. I've already taken one of his pieces he has for sale. Please follow suit

Thanks David for the fit info....sounds funny, but Mercury Retrograde might not be the time to take a chance...last time I bought an expensive YY jacket that didn't quite fit.

I'm a thin guy. YY is exactly what I want in flowing clothes. Not everything is big and drapey.

you definitely can. not everything is super size. plus, you might find excess fabric (in the right places) is quite fun/comforting/protective/cool-looking/etc.

check out chayin up there. first look got a lot of drape but tapered pants. next look fairly slim. what's great is Yohji's slim stuff is still comfortable.

you shouldn't have any problems, @dan138zig. i'm convinced that yohji is the most democratic and accessible designer (prices notwithstanding), not least because all shapes and sizes can look good wearing his stuff. there's certainly a plethora of different cuts and volumes spanning a huge era of productivity to choose from--you can easily tailor your selections to your tastes or ease into your new comfortable home

Even just shirts and sweaters, particularly Y's for Men, have great "standard" fits and are the best you can get with a little extra style or flow.
