I'm an engineer for an oilfield services company. I run electronics that tell us where we are drilling the well and what kind of formation we're drilling through. It flips between being extremely grueling and extremely boring, but the time off/benefits are pretty good.

Sounds like a pretty cool job tbh. My brother is an engineer at an oil company (not services, production), but he does all onshore stuff.
