That's a great looking shirt Gerry. I've always found it hard to find an alternative to traditional polos, but this looks to be about perfect..

@Gerry Nelson Agreed, and the collar is excellent. A great looking shirt all around.

Thank you both. I've found that the collars on my other polos don't look as good under a jacket as the Eidos polos. I'm really happy with it.

Interacting with Spanish Colonial Revival architecture earlier today while my socks slip down, which some people might think is better than being sockless and that some might not think is better than being sockless.

Barbour shirt, Land's End trousers, Gold Toe socks, and Nordstrom's shoes......

The architecture looks more Spanish revival than Spanish Colonial revival
The use of raw stone construction is rare in Spanish colonial buildings.
It is usually stucco or stucco covered brick or adobe. The archways look
positively Romanesque, but the large windows are 20 th century .

Have to tell you I really like that, AAS. That tan jacket is marvelous and combines nicely with the dark pants. And then that wonderful blue (blue-gray?) waistcoat finishes it off nicely so that the overall effect is perfect to my eyes.

Thanks. The vest is blue gray and a part of a three piece suit. I'm a big fan of odd vest. The pants are navy moleskin from Charles Tyrwhitt on their first outing. I had them slimmed to a slightly larger leg opening: 7.75 inches.
