I'm a fan of this outfit overall but to me, the pocket square feels a bit out of place.
I think I'd go with a white or light blue to pick up the stripes of the shirt, depending on how that worked possibly end up with no square at all

It is but wasn't sold that way. I got the jacket and trousers separately intending to wear it like a suit if I wanted.
