Couldn’t agree more.
For some people, they have a need for thumbs / likes to prop up their insecurities (I’m sure those more schooled than I in psychology could come up with the correct terminology for this) so they post relentlessly and as long as there are a few thumbs are probably thinking they’re looking good which may be far from the case. Certain people could benefit from posting pics less frequently and carefully parsing the written feedback for tips. Thumbs are largely worthless in this case.

Like a certain former President of the United States of America.

I recall the saying, “If you don’t have anything nice to say”…

The point of this forum is to advise people when they go astray so that they can learn, grow, and improve. No one needs sycophants.
Hope you’re enjoying your holidays. ?

Christmas present from the fiancé was the Private White Bridge Coat. Will need some alterations, but damn this is cozy

It’s a good looking coat and they’re well made by all accounts but would it not just be easier to forego alterations and just swap it for a smaller size?
Along with the sleeve length something looks off about the whole way it fits on you - asymmetric button colums, pockets etc.

Good morning everyone! I wanted to do a basic menswear fit for a Monday but I saw this combo in my head last night and went for it. It’s the moon houndstooth sportcoat from last year, ecru ocbd and cavalry twills in fawn (all from S&M)

Works for me.
Again, if we can’t stop the move from business formal to business casual then this is the direction I’d prefer business casual to go, rather than polyester golf shirts with company logo, rumpled baggy chinos and those hideous hybrid dress shoe uppers with white sneaker soles that seem to have become so popular with TV weather forecasters!

Thanks! I don't actually know what people in my office wear as I have yet to step foot in but this is all what I think I'd wear to work when the time comes. Just practicing and testing things out at the moment

Smaller size would not fit my chest or shoulders. The buttons on the coat are designed to be asymmetrical, and it’s supposed to be longer than a normal peacoat
