Aye, something I am still working on. I have other shoes but i felt like the color brown was too similar to the knit. Will try it out. Also, have a pair of flannels yet to be tailored, which should provide more texture and lessen the formality.

Flannel would be sweet. I wouldn't worry about matching your shoes and knit too closely. Just use a better color for socks and I think it would be okay.

Suits for my first internship just got back from the tailor. Thinking the pants may be an inch or so long - thoughts?

Suit: J. Crew Grey and Orange Glenplaid
Shirt: Charles Tyrwhitt
Tie: Sam Hober Burnt Orange Mogador
Square: Drakes
Shoes: Allen Edmonds Cordovan Park Aves

Think I agree on the length, but it's not terrible. Could be the angle but the jacket looks a little short as well. The bigger issues is the shoulder divots which unfortunately there is not much you can do about.

Good news is the colors are great and no one except people on this forum will ever notice any of these imperfections.

thats reeeaaalll good @sebastian mcfox . I actually liked it with the collars out like you posted in the NMWA thread, real smarmy-like.
Thanks, I think I prefer this fit with the collar out too. I think this shirt was made for it.
