Are we discussing the taste of the BMW medallion or the red thing obscuring it?

next time I visit my parents, I'm going to post pictures of the dinners I cook from the drivers seat of a BMW. The model of the car will vary on the dish being shown.

Huge fan of the Vitamix Professional 750. It's like heaven in a cup (Kerr jar) every morning. I'll sneak in some veggies, and mostly include fruits and give it a theme each day. I find going with a certain color works: yellow (apple-pear), green (green grapes, green apples, kiwi), red (strawberry, watermelon), orange (peaches, oranges), etc. Mix in some greek yogurt and you're good to go.

Green smoothies are even better for lunch, but I usually add in a little peanut butter to keep me full.

I've dropped about 15 pounds since I started using it, and I was already on the light side. Now I'm back to my high-school weight (early thirties), and enjoying it. Feel much more energetic, too...not sure if it's the weight, the 150% more veggies in my diet, or was.

Oh yes, if you're going to splurge on a Vitamix, I'd lean toward the 750. Those pre-set settings make a world of difference, since you can walk away and not have to endure the machine's one flaw...it's noise level. In addition, many people over or under blend, so using pre-sets negates that potential flaw. The cleaning setting alone is worth the extra $150, IIRC.

Pears and cucumbers are perfect for summer (and great for mixing drinks for the wimmenz).

For most, the 750 is a fairly unnecessary up-charge for most people who simply make smoothies. Last time I checked the 750 was ~$650 on Amazon, around $300 more than a Blend-tec wildside (which would be my recommendation anyway).

Would also recommend adding a clean protein powder in lieu of peanut butter.

My neighborhood grocery just starting stocking Jeni's Ice Cream....and they didn't have a price yet so they said "how bout $2.99"? I told them I just saw it retailed (granted in other state) for $12....they suggested I stock up so I now have 6 pints of it in my freezer :)

...it's the best ice cream I've ever had...what it's worth is another story but holy hell it is good.

Jeni's for $2.99? My gosh.. yes buy every last one!
