It's the same as the ones they use on the denim, duck canvas and heavy twill chores, but I hear you. Not as bad imo as the stark white they use on the St. John's collab moleskin chore. I wonder if they're easy to replace?

I don't mind the metal buttons on the more utility-geared fabric choices such as duck canvas or heavy twill. But this chore feels it crosses a bridge into something—more formal—with the back vent and lapels.

That said, I do wish the metal buttons didn't have the "D" emblem—I can't stand visible branding. Drake's should be better than that.

Less interesting than the transitional one.

Still no sign of this chore :/ View attachment 2273639

I've always regretted not having bought one of this madras scarves in 2018:

The new scarves are nice but at $750 a pop, holy ****. I get they're cashmere but still…

I must admit that so far this autumn I have been wearing my (olive) Barbour Beaufort more often than my (blue) Drake’s. No specific reason, just as it is. Maybe it’s because it hasn’t been that cold yet (the Drake’s is a bit warmer). Just glad I have both and I wear them both.

How tall are you if you dont mind me asking? I had the short wax coverall and found that I could never wear it ontop of any kind of sports jacket due to it being far too short for me

I’m 6’4. Only works with my games blazer, not my longer tailoring.

I think you've got the longer coverall, that comes in (darker) olive, rather than the shorter coverall that comes in (brighter) emerald.
The former fits over most tailoring, but the latter doesn't.

I’d wager it’s the standard coverall but the lightweight version from a few seasons ago. That was neither olive nor emerald. I own it myself and it’s great—not quilted and thus less warm but even easier to layer.

looks like the Aaron Levine x Drake's collab will launch this Thursday. I'm interested in the black denim but I can't remember, did someone say the most recent denim has been fitting more slim than in the past?

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
