Interesting. I was about to pull the trigger on the grey POW. My existing bal coat from a few years back is one size down from my typical Drake’s size. I was going to do the same since the size chart for the grey POW is dead on my existing coat. When you say considerably larger, did the size 40 fit you? Thanks
Bought the 42 online so haven’t tried on the 40 but I reckon the 40 would be the one for me yes.

Hello everyone,

Does anyone else have issues with having enough length in the games trousers to create a cuff/turn up? I’m in a precarious situation where my tailor told me there’s not enough length and that even if we do pull it off the line from where the original hem stitching will still remain visible since both of my trousers are cotton. One is heavy twill and the other is a lighter summer cotton.

Anyone else been in the same boat? I’m left with three options. Option A: just shorten the trousers with a regular hem (the issue with this is there would be no cuffs to give a bit of a drape), Option B: get some cuffs in but have a very obvious line running smack bang in the middle along the cuff, and Option C: get some false cuffs (not my favorite since they have virtually no weight to them and trousers end up sitting weird).

Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences !

I was in the neighborhood today so I stopped in and tried on a denim chore and a couple of the tweed games jackets. Sadly I couldn't replicate the fit on the ssense model

I think that tweed games looks great. Ive been eying the grey herringbone version but have never tried one on. Did you take your standard TTS jacket size here? If not, how did you size it?

Im so reluctant to trust the Drakes size charts...

I am reliably one size smaller in games jackets than tailored jackets — so the tailored tweed in 42 fits similarly to the games tweed in 40. I usually wear the chore jackets in 40, but the one in the photo above is a 42.

I also did size one size down in my tweed games jacket. Fits me perfectly. Wouldn't want it any bigger I think.

I'm intrigued (and slightly confounded) by this new chore cut. I like the changes to the chest and especially the angled hand-warmer and flapped hip pockets. But it looks like it might have a single-vented back, and in the lookbook there's something Games-y about it, unless it's the way the model is standing. Any thoughts?

It's an interesting piece but the high-contrast metal buttons bother me.

It's the same as the ones they use on the denim, duck canvas and heavy twill chores, but I hear you. Not as bad imo as the stark white they use on the St. John's collab moleskin chore. I wonder if they're easy to replace?
