Did the supima mesh crew sweater come in XL?

I picked up a US large and I am usually a 48. I want it baggier

How did the green color work out? @gettoasy

I've still got my eye on the piece too, but don't want the blue again.

@malcb33 Green is good. A good forest green instead of khaki. I do not see any blue undertones. Pictures online a little misleading. The crew neck for example is not as loose even on a size large. I want a XL...

Regardless it will look good with some light washed denim or white/cream trousers IMO. The loose weave will help it stretch out I suppose.

I almost grabbed the white one too but remembered I have Lemaire seed-stitch sweater of the same style and it is much more relaxed, which I like a lot. It is also sized up to a 4(L), and my typical size is a 3(M), so, that could also be why it fits looser. Of the two, the Lemaire is much more lighter and airy. And the Lemaire is actually 100% virgin wool.

Quick and dirty comparing pic:

Nice, that does look solid. I think I want a XL for sure then. Is the knit still fairly dence and kinda airy?

I meant I didn't want the blue version in it as I have a lot of blue stuff and picked more recently. I totally agree on the light denim or cream pants too. I've been looking for a loose fit, cream chinos since I missed a pair of mainline Lemaire's on eBay a while back. I found the qlomaire version wasn't loose enough in a Large for me.

^ Yes maybe a shade lighter and has more of a brown hue

@malcb33 the Uniqlo x Lemaire supima mesh crew neck is thick for spring and summer IMO. Still lighter than your typical fall and winter sweater but no way as light as the Lemaire. The open weave should help with the knit breathe while wearing it I assume.

I have the slim fit OCBDs from a couple years ago and they aren't long enough to tuck. If you want to tuck buy their dress shirts

Not sure in America, but in Japan there were always two types of airism.. a silky one and a mesh one (the mesh one being supposedly cooler).

we also have two types of heattech. one thicker and warmer than the other.
I think Uniqlo reads this thread.

This was not on their site a while back.
