I like that shirt collar shape, is it vintage Brooks Bros. stuff?

Thank You.

It's an L L Bean Made In USA 60% cotton 40% polyester (with a flap pocket, like a J Press shirt) OCBD shirt from that wonderful time before the "Officious Preppy Handbook" (which was in the "Humor" section, not "Fashion" section, in bookstores) was published, and people who didn't know that it was a joke book stopped buying all the wonderful fabric blends that the genius of Man had created.

Humanity was the loser and moths and dry cleaners were the winners.

(When that horrid woman wrote a second book "True Prep" in 2010, it was also in the "Humor" section in bookstores.)

Something old, something new. The jacket is 'previously owned' but the vest and trousers are from Peter Christian. The shotgun is a 1909 W. W. Jeffrey.
Thinking of getting myself this Peter Christian Donegal in the 2 piece suit. Is it a fairly heavy tweed Sarge? I'm looking for something with a bit of weight to it

I have a pair of trousers made up from this Molloy & S. tweed. It is a little hard to pair with sportcoats so mostly gets worn with sweaters. I would like another pair from a similar tweed if I can fins something more suitable for wearing with a sportcoat. I remember there was a more typical birdseye in gray and that might be better for trousers than this chunky nailhead.

Hallo, what means - deeds - ?

Fortunato, I believe it may be a typographical error 'deeds/deets/details'. Our friend, I believe, was sufficiently impressed with the jacket to ask for the details as to the make up, maker, seller etc

Best,

Cleav

MTM work: Cove Munich

wish you all a good jump into the new year !!!!!!!

Received yesterday:

This suit is made up from the London Lounge "Agnelli Tweed". It's very flannel-like (while clearly not a flannel), which brings up a question: what makes a tweed cloth a tweed cloth? It's not a weave, I believe. Or is it? This Agnelli Tweed is very soft, not scratchy at all (thank goodness as the trousers are only half lined in front), and not what one would conventionally think of as a "tweed". So is it just a definitional thing?
