Snow made outdoor pics impossible (because my photographer (wife) wouldn't stand in the snow to take the photos. Trying to show off the colors in the second pic (heather, orange, teal, green mostly)

I wish I had realised the used market for vintage tweed from the start. There is some amazing stuff out there! All of my favourite tweeds are vintage in fact... Sometimes things might need relining or minor repairs, but if you seek items you really like and in great condition, you can't really go wrong...

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum; having been compelled to join by an incredibly frustrating, vain 7 week scour of various retail outlets across London and the Internet for a beautiful tweed jacket that I saw an interviewee on the News, not sure if BBC, ITV or Channel 4 in late Nov/early Dec 2015 wearing. I am hoping that somebody will recognise my description and help me track down this jacket.

It was a brief glimpse; I remember a light brown/ruddy/green tweed with a blue, perhaps red, perhaps both, windowpane check, but what caught my eye most was a striking and prominent gold fleck throughout.

I have been advised in various shops that it may well have been a bespoke garment but I have been unable to find the fabric online either.

I would be very grateful if anyone could help me track down either the garment or the cloth.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Vintage overcoat bought from TweedyDon on AAAC, worn over BB check tweed jacket, and yellowish tweed waistcoat I bought in Dingle on New Year's Eve.
Jonathan Richards cap also from that trip to Dingle.
Lochcarron black watch tie.
