@thelonius I believe the Bladen brand was purchased by Wensum who are one of the larger tailoring manufacturers operating in Mauritius.

I have always appreciated tweed clothes for country use, and also the history and culture behind the cloth. I bought a tweed jacket from A Hume about three years ago. It is a Bladen Supasax tweed jacket made for A Hume at a fairly heavy 700g/m2 cloth weight. It is a very appreciated cold-weather country jacket. A Hume seems not to be stocking any Bladen products any more, and told me they had no information about the company. I have tried to find some additional information about Bladen, which relocated to Mauritius apparently at some point. Does anyone know if Bladen is still operating, or has it closed down, the name been bought by another (Chinese?) company?

Thanks for the link. It's true, Tweed Gentlemen's Clothier Stockholm offers quite a lot of Bladen products. Mystery to me. I wonder if their tweed stuff is old stock.

I really hope it does not have teflon on it... I just asked my tailor to make me a jacket in WB12464. I cannot find anything on google about this so if you do inquire please let me know what you find out.
