Surprisingly well. Hardly any water even got to the inside of the boot -- only a bit around the edges near the ball of the foot. Most of the rest didn't manage to make it all the way through. And it's always interesting to see how these only really absorb water where they flex the most. That's probably because AoM recommended mink oil as a way to weather-proof these, and I've given them a coat or two of it.

These are one of the best wingtip boots I've ever seen...perfect combo with socks and pants as well.

DV, you are looking terrific in your Wingtip Boots and your Cigar Tassels. YOur Cigars are very nice and I am glad that you like them.

    Thank you Uncle Mac!

Looks like you had a great trip! My wife would just shake her head if she heard me say that I had to take a picture of Ravello, Italy...

Henry, you are looking good today in your Cigar PTBs.

Mac, your Ravello WT Boots look absolutely superb. Thank you for sharing them today. They have a nice color and of course a magnificent shine. Enjoy them in good health today!

Has anyone done a run of Ravello, Cigar, or Whiskey wingtip boots with all eyelets and a double leather sole?

Epaulet's Brixton boot is what you describe. However, a run of that boot in exotic colors is very, very rare.

Another one I can think of is the Whiskey Wingtip boot on 379X last by 14oz Berlin.

Superb. (Have those same 1.0 Garands and really wish the old version was still available.)

Never mind - I see now it is AoC. Almost everything that catches my eye seems to be from them and B+M
