Wondering if anyone can recall an Alden offering crafted from a dark burgundy suede or nubuck. I've lately been interested in a shoe or chukka in this type of leather, especially since I now more frequently wear casual styles. I'm thinking of a very dark burgundy - sort of the suede/nubuck version of Color 8 - on the Barrie last. Not sure if there are a dozen Alden fans out there who would want something like this, thus requesting a retailer to place an order. I welcome your thoughts...thanks!

They don’t even offer a suede in this color. Not sure that they ever did either

A dark burgundy suede would be the type of thing AE might do. Good luck on your quest.

Edward Green does offers a couple suede options that fit the bill, but through their MTO program it might cost over $2,000.

I remember AE had offered a Burgundy Suede in a previous Trunk Show and lots of people (including myself) took advantage. Don't recall any loafers, but saw some Longwings and I got a Hamilton in that dark burgundy suede. Very underrated IMO!
