Can anyone recommend a source for 48" flat or round boot laces, medium width? Dark brown preferred.
AE used to make such a thing, but their 48" flat and round boot laces have gotten enormously wide recently, just too much for Alden eyelets. AE seems to use a larger diameter eyelet.
GG's rounds are also just a bit too fat for my Aldens. And the 54" medium flats are just too dang long, even for my size 13 feet!

Funny, but I have found decent round laces at Walmart in the "shoe care" section. Don't remember the brand, but they were boot laces, have lasted a long time and were dirt cheap. Can anyone recommend a source for 48" flat or round boot laces, medium width? Dark brown preferred.

I wear these in my 405s. Had a pair of Red Wings years ago before coming to Alden. These are oddly amazing laces.Funny, but I have found decent round laces at Walmart in the "shoe care" section. Don't remember the brand, but they were boot laces, have lasted a long time and were dirt cheap.
Red wing laces are GOOD work boot laces, and 405's are work boots, so........I wear these in my 405s. Had a pair of Red Wings years ago before coming to Alden. These are oddly amazing laces.
