essentially 34 = xs, 36 = sm, 38 = m, 40 = L, 42 = XL, 44 = XXL

BUT AD is a more forgiving cut depending on where you fall within shoulder and belly measurements

No way. XXL in BD, XL in AD, unless your chest is big because your fat. Then just don't get BD.

I'm not fat. Maybe I have a 42 inch chest. Need to measure again.
