I ordered a natural hatch watch band. That's all I could currently justify. Seeing as I'm mostly work from home these day I've been shrinking the collection and enjoying having less options to choose from. Some pairs are even starting to develop patina.

Just curious, does anyone on here own a pair of blue shell with a natural edge and beige stitching? I'm trying to gather if this combo really works. I know it works great with the denim shell, but not sure if blue shell is too dark to work with this combo.

Here's a shot of my navy Macneils with light welt and stitching. No complaints.

Hello Shoeenthusiasts,

the strong welts and more sturdy build of Allen Edmonds shoes, or my old and refurbished "Borelli's" from Deichmann, are ideal for the rainy weather we have today in Frankfurt. The shoes withstand rain, snow and dirt easily. With more elegant shoes from Carmina or so I would not want to take them out for the grocery shopping and now walking thourgh the city in bad weather.

hence the coffee brown AE shoes with a dainite sole are much more versatile from a practical perspective. In sommer light brown shoes, like the nice AE in Walnut with a leather sole, are as stylish in an distinct American way as the thin-soled blake-stiched summer monks are with an Italien style.

Hence what is "stylish" or "elegant" lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Enjoy your weekend across the Atlantic!

Best regards

Pascal

Well, you could make this place exciting if you order a few pair of hatched something.

I don't own the pair anymore but I had blue shell with natural edge and white stitching. It is loud. As for the peer pressure, its not gonna work! lol

Given that you drink an oat milk cappuccino with your friend who died 204 years before you, I did not know that vampires like shell cordovan loafers and nowadays drink oat milk cappuccinos instead of frothed virgin blood cappuccinos. However, you probably prefer shell cordovan because it last as long as you do, does it? ;-)

By some coincidence, I just streamed an early episode (1985) of Spenser for Hire last night. The opening chase scene ends with a shoot-out in that very same burial ground in winter, with Spenser ricocheting rounds off that very same Franklin Memorial obelisk, while the perpetrator takes cover behind it.
