I think navy pine stripe is easy to wear, just light color anything on top would kind do, a bit old menswear look though, chalk stripe not sure, depends on how wide I suppose

Does somebody wear striped pants as separates ?
Recently been finding a lot of really nice one with chalk stripe but couldn't figure out how i can wear them.

I used to wear some relaxed but tapered navy pinstripe trousers (ca. 2015?) with a washed denim chore coat or over shirt, both open over a T. I thought it looked good then. No pics to assess now. The pants no longer fit, however, and I haven't come across a suitable replacement (at a price I want to pay).

I usually don't like wide trousers to be this short, but darn this really elongates your legs. Terrific look!

They're Wrangler Dress Jeans. Very practical pants for entry into the boot cut game. I have several pairs. They fit tight. Read reviews before purchasing. Size way up and alter the waist.

Thanks. The inseam is actually pretty standard for me and there would be a break if I wore flat heeled shoes. It must be the high heel of the boot giving it that visual.

From a few months ago (old Eidos cord set up). Largely taken from the same lookbook. Does part of me wish I sizes up one more? Sure. Might fit with the spirit of this discussion even more. But I’m counting my good fortunes that I can even fit into everything after this many years. This thread was always interesting to read and see the inspiration.
