Sartoria Pastena Elegance Trunk Show April 16
Antonio Pastena is returning to the US and has a brief visit in New York the 16th. Both Mario and Antonio cut with Mario being ex-Panico and Antonio ex-Rubinacci and ex-Ciardi. Coats and trousers are made in house in their small, mostly family sartoria.

Bookings are open.

Glad to see this thread exists, been surprisingly hard to find info. Or maybe I just don’t know where to look.

Nicholas Templeman is coming back to NYC on May 2-3. He also mentioned about moving over to Vancouver, so we may see more frequent visits in the future.

Noriyuki Higashi of Sartoria Raffaniello will be holding his first trunk show in NYC from Nov. 2-4, 2024.

I met Mr. Higashi at his shop in Osaka earlier this year and purchased an MTM jacket and trousers at that time. He expressed an interest in visiting the USA at some point, but lamented the long journey. So it's nice to see that things have come together and he's able to visit.

There have been a few posts on this forum about Sartoria Raffaniello. He can be found on Instagram at @sartoria_raffaniello, which he updates rather frequently. Hopefully, his first trunk show in NYC is a success and there'll be many more.

Some personal favorites of mine:
Notice the unusual direction of the shoulder seam, as shown here, which appears to be part of the house style.

BnTailor will be in NYC the 24th and 25th of this month. I will, of course be in NYC the following week. They are a tailor I would like to try. Maybe next time.

Would you mind sharing what you paid for the MTM jacket and trousers? Just want to make sure it's not way over my budget.

@dpmcleod The MTM jacket and trousers together were about 300,000 JPY. In terms of the breakdown for each article, I can't remember the exact split. Based on the amount of hand sewing and the choice of fabrics, I thought it was a decent value.

He has some baseline prices for MTM and bespoke on his website.

Of course, due to travel costs and the added difficulty of working on the road, most tailors usually charge a slightly higher amount for projects started at trunk shows, which I think is reasonable.

I'll post photos of the jacket and trousers later.
