I am looking for advice on which fit better of these 2 suede leather jackets from Banana Republic:

How did they feel when you moved around? I think the medium looks better.
Thank you for the reply! Agreed on the medium and both felt good, but the small is a bit tight around the chest. The only thing I’m worried about is the medium stretching since it’s a soft suede.

But buying a jacket that I’m hoping fits better later (e.g. the small) seems like a bad ideas unless you’re 70-80% sure it will stretch to almost look like the medium.

agree that the body of the medium looks better. But what's going on with the sleeves--do you plan to wear with the cuff turned back, or are the sleeves too long on the medium?

Much appreciated! I would wear the cuffs turned up, and when buttoned the sleeves don’t go past my wrist since the hand hole is small (the sleeves don’t bunch too noticeably either).

The biggest concern I have is the soft suede stretching to a larger size.

is the jacket lined? I think a full lining reduces stretch. Also it depends on how much tension there will be on the suede. If little/no tension it should not stretch significantly.

It is fully lined and there is little to no tension, that’s actually really helpful to know.
