I have a crush on those shoes. What exactly do you use to polish them?

Thanks @coldsalmon, they are my old dog favourites. I use cream, dark brown polish, oxblood polish, cherry red polish neutral wax pretty much anything that I'm using on other shoes come a Sunday clean and polish round. You can see the original colour there at the top and the different colours applied subsequently. They get looked after on the bench at C & J every now and again who always do a great job soled and heeled £115 IIRC.

Some vintage shell saddle shoes (Hanover?) that I bought pretty beat up for $20 to learn how to take care of shell before investing in anything pricier. True to its reputation the shell cleaned up great.

Really interested pB, why that may be? I would struggle to accept it to be the case, unless it is something to with how black shoes develop/age compared to other colours?
