I had a good experience with the shirt I purchased, my first shirt I took the chance and bought a higher end fabric, but he nailed the measurements. I wouldn't change anything.

My first shirt was also a home run. I asked for very slight adjustments going forward which are reflective of personal preference not any error on his part. Proceed with confidence, but it’s never a bad idea to have him make one to start and then to proceed with the rest after you have the opportunity to test drive the first shirt.

Also, not sure what his production times are like these days but you may be patiently waiting for at least a few weeks after your first appointment.

Divij is offering 20% off on linen and linen blends if anyone is interested. Not sure what the turnaround time is currently like but I’d imagine it’s possible to take delivery by the summer.

Going to commission a new suit and sports coat/ blazer with Divij this weekend. I noticed the fabric brand prices are now all very similar.

Which fabrics would you all recommend for the suit and sports coat?

I will likely go with a navy blue suit.

I previously ordered charcoal suit with VBC fabric I was very happy with it until an unnamed airline "lost" my bag with it in it.

I am somewhat at a loss as to what order for the sports coat/ blazer. This will be my only sports coat so I am looking for something that is very versatile. What color and fabric should I order?

Should I stick with VBC or order from one of the other brands like Holland & Sherry, Loro Piana etc for the suit?

For the sports coat/ blazer what color and brand of fabric should I order?

I just commissioned and received a suit from Divij and chose a navy self-herringbone in navy by Dormeuil. It is amazing and have received compliments online as well as IRL. You can see it in this post.

For sports coat I liked the Ethomas cloth ( cashmere and wool) and the designs are unique. I got one made with Divij in fall last year and it is light, easy to travel but warm due to cashmere

That’s the hard part about following this path. Once you start wearing tailored clothing and feel the comfort it can be very difficult to go back to RTW.

I just received my order of a gray sharkskin double breasted suit and it fits great. This is my second suit and it came surprisingly fast, I ordered on April 23rd.

I was shocked at how quickly my recent shirt order was delivered. I was mentally prepared for three months wait and it was more like three weeks.
