Hello everyone,

I own a pair of Comfort Craftsman that I bought in 2017 from the London shop in size 7 H. I have relatively wide feet. Two years after wearing them and experiencing discomfort on my little toes, I reached out to the RMW customer service. They told me that a Tambo would fit me much better. The salesperson at the shop never mentioned the Tambo option. I guess they don't sell them at the shop. Unfortunately, relasting to a Tambo last is not possible as there is not enough leather available. As I continued to experienced discomfort and pressure on my little toes, I decided to send them in. I hoped that a relast to size 7.5 H would give me a little more width. After years of not wearing them I yesterday gave the boots another try. There's definitely less pressure on the little toes but now I experience a little too much roominess in the heel area. On my left foot I also get a squeaking sound while walking, which is probably due to too much heel slip. I saw that RMW once sold those 3/4 insoles. They don't seem to be available anymore. Does anyone have other suggestions on how I could improve the fit and reduce heel slippage?

Thanks and much appreciated!

For sale

After years, I finally sourced the larger two, sadly discovered these don't fit me.

Would like to sell all.

The browns have a bit of relaxed elastics. The other two are mint.

Comfort Craftsman 10F $250 mint (someone has told me they are likely the Gardener model instead)
Craftsman 10.5 Blk $250 mint
Craftsman 11 F Brwn $225 mint -2

Slightly negotiable

Your "Comfort Craftsman" are definitely NOT that! Look at the toe; the only difference between Craftsman and CC is the comfort sole. I agree they're likely Gardener.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
