Indeed, unlined chukkas are great for summer. I own ten pairs of chukka boots of which six are unlined.Fabulous colour! I need more unlined chukka boots!
The welt is separating from the upper, either because it wasn't stitched tight enough or because some stitches broke. It's really bad because the upper and sole aren't securely linked anymore but it would also be expensive to have it repaired.Hi guys,
Quick question I have a pair of C&J Chiltern boots I absolutely love.See the image below with all my goodyear welted shoes.
I noticed right now that there might be some kind of problem, like a gap between the uppers and the sole, as if there was a torn string. any idea what could be the issue?
